Huger, COO & General Counsel of Third Solutions. Third Solutions claims that MyReceipts is a pending trademark of the company that they’ve been using since 2007. Of course we visited their website to see if they are real and it looks like a pretty cool service. Check it out!

We must admit that we didn’t expect our mobile receipt app to cause such a stir especially using such generic words like “My” and “Receipts,” but with over 13,000 downloads since our launch, I guess it caught their attention. Here’s what we’ve been asked to do by Tuesday, August 31st.

Cease all use of the trademark MyReceipts™, otherwise known as the “Mark.”

Deliver-up for destruction all material to which the Mark has been applied

Withdraw, cancel and/or delete any corporate names, domains, etc that include the Mark

So in the spirit of good business, we’ve changed our name from MyReceipts to My Pesky Receipts (one word). After all, they did have it first. Since our app only lives online, it was relatively easy for us to cease, destroy and withdraw; WOW, such aggressive words!

For our 13,000+ users, all that has changed is the name. All the same great features apply! So keep organizing those pesky receipts using all the cool new features we’ve added over the past couple of months. Additional filters coupled with the ability to scan receipts and export the data to your computer make it easier than ever to go paperless and manage your expenses on the fly.

And Ms Huger, we hope this meets your expectations! Hopefully, you found out about us because you downloaded our app!

MyReceipts Has Launched!

http://www.kayemediapartners.com/1/post/2010/06/myreceipts-has-launched.html

http://www.kayemediapartners.com/1/post/2010/06/myreceipts-has-launched.html#comments

Uncategorized

Download the new app today! Why because people want to access information on-the-go. They are increasing downloads, browsing and of course social networking. No one wants to wait until they have access to their computer to update their Facebook status. And with more and more people expecting real time, anytime communications - its no wonder smartphone usage is on the rise.

Will the battle continue over Android and iPhone? Well according to the same research firm, Android users and IPhone users are slightly different animals. When it comes to apps - the stuff Kaye Media Partners builds - Android users are more app heavy and tend to be more internet-enabled whereas iPhone users use more mobile applications and tend to be more social. Either way the Android Marketplace still needs some help on the content side. With only 10,000 apps compared to 100,000 apps available for the iPhone, there is plenty of opportunity to not only spur smartphone adoption, but to influence it by the creating the apps people want and need.

What's Your Appetite?

http://www.kayemediapartners.com/1/post/2010/05/whats-your-appetite.html

http://www.kayemediapartners.com/1/post/2010/05/whats-your-appetite.html#comments

Uncategorized

Welcome to What’s Your APPetite, a blog for Android users who want someone to develop apps that will make their lives easier, much easier!
