MyPeskyReceipts (Deluxe) -- How to Export Receipts
The following figures highlight features of the export feature available only with the deluxe version of MyPeskyReceipts.
The set of receipts displayed on the Receipt Summary Page can be exported. This means that you can use the Filter Page to select a desired set of receipts and then export them to another application. You access the Export screen by touching the Menu and then selecting the [Export] icon.
The above Export page will then be presented. The receipts are always offloaded in CSV (Comma separated values) format. This makes it compatible with most applications. For example when emailed to a mail recipient, it appears as an Excel worksheet where it can be manipulated as such.
When “Include Images” is checked, a separate email will be generated with an image for each receipt in the CSV file that has an associated scanned image. For that reason we ask that you complete the Address/Subject/Comment on this screen and it will be passed automatically to your email client so that you will not have to re-enter it as each image is sent. The CSV file and associated image emails are numbered in the Subject line so that the set is clearly linked when they arrive at the recipient’s Inbox.
When “Erase records from database” is checked, MyPeskyReceipts will, after further confirmation from you, purge the database of the selected set of receipts. We recommend that before purging any set of receipts, you first offload them via email to yourself.
